PayPal is an American company that operates a worldwide online payment system, which is utilized by corporations and organizations such as eBay, Walmart, and Barnes and Noble. PayPal advertises itself as “shopping without borders”, with alliances with millions of other websites in over 200 markets with over 346 million customers and counting, making orders either off of their laptops or iPhones. Originally, PayPal was founded as Confinity with the idea of creating an easy-going digital payment system for individuals and companies for lower costs.
